Most of my students come from low income households and I want to make the transition to college as easy as possible by supplying some items that they might never consider buying. One such item is a mini fridge, while it is not a requirement it is something I know many students enjoy having. Being able to keep some healthy snacks in your dorm for the late night study sessions is always a plus. On the other hand, the echo dot can be used as an alarm clock, a way to set reminders, and a way to listen to the latest news. I will raffle off items as a way to get students excited about applying and going to college.
