Our students are incredible young adults. They range in age from 12 to 21 in a LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM housed in a public school for grades 7 - 12 in Oregon. We have 45 students, who are just like all other young adults. They wish to make friends, be accepted, attend social events, play sports, play musical instruments, sing, draw, paint using water colors, acrylics, oil based paints, dance, sing, talk on the phone and they attend classes, math, reading, writing, health, PE, drafting, choir, band, and drama classes to mention a few. Our students have skill deficits in many areas: including academics, and social skills to mention a few, but other areas are affected too. Our students wish for those around them to understand them, but often times have trouble with communication. Being able to explain to others how they feel.
