Write and Wipe!
Funded Dec 6, 2022Thank you!
There are not enough words to express my gratitude and thanks for your generous donations to my class project. My students and I are very appreciative of your support for the teaching and learning going on in 4th grade this year!
My students have proved to be resilient with each new challenge thrown at them! They were shocked when the huge box arrived and enjoyed guessing what could be in it. The table has been amazing for small group work and will be used by so many students for years to come.
They say it takes a village, thank you for being an important part of ours!"”

This classroom project was brought to life by Clorox and 4 other donors.Throw, Run, and Have Fun!
Funded Jun 10, 2021The impact this project had on our scholars were priceless. Coming through a year of shutdown with Covid, and concluding a year of hybrid. This was just the fun they needed to feel some normalcy. The scholars used the pool noodles to create javelin rings and different size javelins to throw through the rings. All in honor of the summer Olympics. This was one of the only activities they were able to complete as a grade level and they will remember it for a long time. To see they throw, run and have fun amid all the protocols was a pleasure. Thank you!”

Funded Jun 17, 2020My scholars were so excited to receive these items. They were stuck inside and summer was coming, with nothing to do and no where to go. The donated activities let the understand you can have fun even if it is by yourself. You just have to let your imagination run wild. The punch balls gave them so many ideas. We used them to do some outside learning towards the end of the year. they were able to practice the multiplication and division facts. they blew bubble to answer questions or celebrate a correct answer. We had so much fun with all these items. Thank you for your continued support of our education. We appreciate you!!!”

Sound Focus!!!!
Funded Nov 23, 2020We use technology daily for all instruction. Students are able to use voice typing in google doc to dictate their writing, or answer questions. They look up images and videos to support their learning. Students play games or use educational websites to practice skill deficit or enhance and gain further knowledge. my scholars create vision boards. Even though they use the technology to access already running forums, we also teach them how to navigate programs and create items of their own. I no longer hand them a template, but show them how to create a template for their selves.
As hard as the transition to virtual learning has been, i have had many scholars flourish through this time. There are scholars that would no speak a word in person but they are doing tremendously well and has shown great strides during this virtual interaction.
Thank you so much for your continued support in education! We appreciate all you do!!”

Funded Sep 18, 2019Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Theses supplies allow me to make copies and intervention worksheets for the students. We are also able to make homework and study packets. The white board markers helps in small group and saves on paper use. Scholars are able to erase mistakes and move on without recreating from the beginning. It allows me as a teacher to correct scholars in real time as they are working. These supplies have helped our classroom run quite efficiently. We can not thank you enough.!”

Time for MY Kids
Funded Jan 2, 2015Thank you for allowing my students the opportunity to study real life social studies. They were able to connect their learning to themselves and the world around them. Learning in this manner is invaluable and will stay with them always. The students were excited daily when it was time for their "time for kids" work. They couldn't wait for the new issue each week. This magazine would be taken out just to read at quiet time on their own. Thank you, your donation and contributions to the future is greatly appreciated.”
