These materials will make a difference in my classroom because during small group time in both math and guided reading I like my students to enjoy exploring their learning through different games with groups and on their own. I want them to have fun and become confident! I also like to be able to differentiate their learning through these different games. Everyone's brains work differently so having a variety of different materials for my students to feel confident and practice concepts being taught in class is crucial for them to be successful. Also its fun to see them laugh and have fun even when they are working on school work! I have chose a variety of different small group games to practice multiplication and division like the towers that will be played like Jenga. I have also picked some reading comprehension skill games that we will work on during guided reading time.
