First graders are hard on things. We are always moving and learning. My first graders would benefit from having the self-adhesive nameplate covers because they would last us the whole year. The magnetic letters would be awesome to use when we are making and building words. First grade is all about learning to read, so what better way to do that than to manipulate words? This gives the students a concrete way of learning their new words. We can use the floatable, buildable toys in our water tables. The students love to do STEM activities and this will help them enhance their spatial awareness and fine motor skills.
