A Sanitary Classroom
Funded Jul 21, 2020In the realm of education, where every resource can make an immeasurable difference, the kindness and generosity shown by donors hold an exceptional place. As a special education teacher, I have been fortunate enough to experience this firsthand, thanks to the benevolent souls who contributed materials to our classroom through DonorsChoose. With hearts full of gratitude, I pen this essay to express our deepest appreciation for the invaluable support and the transformative impact it has had on the lives of my students.
In our classroom, every child is an individual with a unique journey of growth and development. Your support has empowered us to tailor our teaching methods and materials to match each student's specific needs. Whether it was providing interactive books for reluctant readers or adaptive writing tools for those with motor challenges, your donations have kindled the sparks of curiosity and self-belief in our students, propelling them towards meaningful academic progress.
Beyond just the tangible materials, your contributions have fostered a culture of inclusivity and acceptance within our classroom. The students have learned the importance of compassion, empathy, and standing by each other through both victories and struggles. They have grown to appreciate the value of diversity and the beauty of individual differences, nurturing a safe and supportive environment for all.”

Sensory Based Products To Help Us Learn!
Funded Sep 24, 2018Thank you so much for selflessly donating to my project. My students absolutely love using the alphabet robots, they take turns forming them into letters and trying to make words by lining the robots together. how much fun there are having weather learning at the same time.
The sensory letters numbers and shapes are also a hit because it provides much-needed feedback but my students need, it's also one on one time that they have with me where they get to talk about their day.
We love getting a buddy and sitting down to listen to books on CD. For some of my students this is the only way that they will engage in a read aloud.
These materials are used on a daily basis and some kids request the, often. Thank you again for helping my students learn and grow!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. F.
