The Secret to Success
Funded Oct 21, 2021I want to first thank you for your donation towards our project. It has made such a difference during our small group reading group. The secret stories have brought phonics to life! The students enjoy learning about the secrets. Every day I get asked can we learn a new secret.
The notebooks are used to keep track of the secret stories we have read. I enjoy seeing my students use their own imagination! The students have benefited from all the materials and I really look forward to see how they continue to grow as young readers.

Funded Aug 4, 2019I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations to our classroom project. This project was special to me as it supplied our classroom with supplies that made it feel like home.
Classrooms at times are very bland. With the materials in this project my classroom looks like a living room. It is welcoming, calming, and resembles a home. My students were in awe when they first saw it and I can tell during my lesson that they are engaged and comfortable.
There were also supplies like books, cardstock, and gel pens that we have used endlessly in our lessons.
Thank you for donations. It means the world to us and truly makes a difference in our classroom. You have helped changed the environment for learning and relationship building. We cannot thank you enough.”

Funded Feb 14, 2019Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. This project allowed me to expand our nonfiction library in our classroom. It also added more diversity! Adding the chapter books allows my students not only to learn more about people from the past and present, but to work towards reading longer books, which they are SUPER excited about.
I cannot wait to begin a project with the books where students are going to read and research their person. They will also get a chance to present on their topic and person. We rarely do class projects and I'm excited to have fun with this one!
We also received other here and there items that make our classroom complete like the diffuser and oils. All of the resources are great additions to our classroom and lessons. Thank you!”

Home Sweet Classroom
Funded Feb 13, 2019As most people know we spend a lot of time in our classroom. I want my classroom to reflect a room of comfort for my students. After all, this is a place that we spend our most of our days in. My students are super excited to have a classroom transformation for next school year. We will be turning our classroom into a "farm house" type of living room setting.
I will be using the Christmas tree as a piece of decor that stays up all year. We will decorate it for every holiday and season as a family. I am also bringing in fresh plants and a touch of nature to our classroom.
I also included games that families play together to bring into our classroom and lessons. I cannot wait to use all of the supplies! Thank you so much for your donations!”

Technology, Flexible Seating, and Room Transformations- Heading Towards Success!
Funded Feb 9, 2019My students have truly enjoyed all of our supplies we received from the project that was funded. It brought technology, flexible seating options, and fun room transformation materials to our classroom and we cannot wait to use it all!
We did a Toy Story room transformation and the response was truly amazing. My students were engaged like they never have been before and have begged to do it again. It was a fun experience for all of my students and surprising them was the best part!
I will be arranging our furniture next year to reflect a living room or home space. I want my students to feel comfortable in our classroom and I want it to be a "home sweet classroom" experience for them. I would not be able to make ideas like this come to life without Donors like you. Thank you so much!”

Set the Stage to Engage!
Funded Nov 27, 2018I have always wanted to do MAJOR classroom transformation. To have my students walk into a room and be in awe about what it looks like. The materials in this project allow that to happen! My students are excited about learning and always looking forward to what the classroom will look like. It is easy to make anything fun when we are dressing up and pretending to be a part of our favorite movies.
None of this is possible without the help of our donors. You all really make a difference in the lives of current and future students.
The materials will be/ and have been used to transform my classroom into something magical for students. The next steps will be having students come up with transformation ideas for younger students in our school. My students love having leadership roles! This allows my students to learn with the materials and grow personally and educationally.

Get Comfy and R-E-A-D
Funded Jul 19, 2018My students have truly loved the flexible seating options in the classroom. Flexible seating has allowed my students to do so much more than just finding somewhere comfortable to sit. My students are making conscious decisions about where to sit and becoming familiar with how they best work. Thank you for helping fund the flexible seating in this project. It has truly made a difference.
The books are something they ask about daily. My students are eager to get into these books. Many of these books remind them of their self and that was the purpose. The books open their imagination and encourage them to read.
I cannot thank you all enough for your generous donations. We are having a great year and thanks to you all, we have exciting books and comfortable students.”

Glow What You Know
Funded Jul 3, 2018I cannot begin to explain the excitement that comes across my students face when I plug up those lights! My students truly enjoy all of these supplies and it brings our lesson to another level.
For reading instruction we will use the supplies for a "Glow What You Know" day. Questions will be written on the blacklight tape, and the students will use the blacklight to read questions and find answers.
This level of engagement would not be possible without the help from you all. I wish you could see the excitement on their faces and their engagement. The supplies truly make a vision of mine come true and it did exactly that. My students are EXCITED and ENGAGED.
You have made a huge difference in many, many lives. I cannot thank you enough.”

Alexa, Can You Help Me Expand My Vocabulary?
Funded Jun 11, 2018I cannot express how thankful we are for your donations and making this project possible. My students really enjoy having "Alexa" in the room. During small group they are able to ask Alexa for assistance. They have really enjoyed being able to do that. The wooden blocks and the spin wheel are being used for review and of course, both bring a different approach to reviewing and my students are very interested in the materials. This makes teaching fun and learning even more fun! Their reaction to Alexa was the best! I didn't tell them it was there and I said "Let's ask Alexa" and their faces lit up. The materials truly bring a different life in our classroom and we cannot thank you enough for making this possible”

Open the Magic With Books and Flexible Seating
Funded May 28, 2018I cannot begin to explain the love my students have for the supplies. The microphone brings a whole new meaning to FUN in the classroom. They are eager to learn and want to be engaged in the lesson.
The books have added diversity to our library. My students are begging to grab to books. One student enjoys grabbing a book and writing summaries and facts out of the book. The books truly make a difference in reading and have helped my students love for reading grow.
I have enjoyed incorporating new and updated books into lessons. The characters look like my students and that allows my students to engage in discussions and retain the information due to increased engagement. All of the supplies have changed the culture in our classroom. The excitement on their faces when they saw the supplies was priceless. We are excited for a new school year! Thank you for everything.”
