The items provided by your generosity has impacted the students in many ways.
I have seen interest and participation grow increasingly.
I have been given the ability to print colored work sheets that have aided the students in becoming more familiar with the primary, secondary and tertiary colors.
Art has become a lot of the students' favorite special as a result of the tools provided.
The students at Santa Clara and I could begin to say how grateful we are for every Donor that was involved as these materials have not only impacted their lives but will continue the touch the lives of every students the comes through the Art class.

My classroom is diverse as they come, I teach 2nd- 5th grade Art in a lower income area in Miami. Most of my students are ESOL or came from an ESOL background as most have immigrant parents. More than anything I try to ensure that my classroom is a safe space for learning, engagement and experimentation, I want my students to leave my class having a stronger feeling of self and high belief in what they are capable of. One of the difficulties I face in this classroom setting is these students have a lack of confidence in their abilities and are even more scared to try as they are scared to fail. I try to focus my lessons on educating them about artists they can relate to and every chance I get I compliment any progression in their work. Materials asked for will 100% benefit every student that passes through my class and will be used to ensure that they can experiment and grow through ART.
