For the Love of Reading!
Funded May 9, 2023I would like to thank you all so much for your generosity and support of my classroom project. Your generous gift has enabled me to give my students the gift of reading. They are enjoying the books during my small group reading intervention program as well as one-on-one reading tests.
To see as well as hear my students read these wonderful books has brought tears to my eyes. They have worked so hard to improve their reading skills and being able to gift this reading library has truly been a miracle.”

Funded Sep 2, 2022Thank you for your generous gift to my class project! The materials that I received are truly supporting my reading intervention program!
My small groups are enjoying everything that was received. The clear pocket holders for their small group reading! They are perfect for slipping their individual stories inside. Also, the CVC word blending with the matching pictures are supporting my beginning readers with blending words. The materials have made a wonderful difference in their motivation to learn how to read. Once again, thank you!”

Wow! Connecting Remotely With Social Emotional Learning!
Funded Feb 28, 2021Thank you so much for giving my students the tools needed to get through a challenging school year. The puzzles were part of our daily social emotional learning morning routine. They were able to learn how to cope with their feelings, make the right choices, and be a role model for others. I read them a story each morning and they were above to learn better ways to deal with their feelings during this challenging times. These materials were used during remote and in-person learning and I am so grateful”

Funded Sep 3, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donation to fully fund my project "The Easel is the Heart of Virtual Learning".
Since I am teaching remotely each day, the requested materials are being used in this way. The Whiteboard/Felt Board on Wheels is used for daily handwriting skills during whole and small group instruction( letter formation, sentence structure, proper word spacing, math problem solving, vocabulary introduction, word blending activities, and important announcements). The Upper Case/Lower Case Magnetic Letters are wonderful for the whiteboard because my students are using them for word building and matching letter to sound, which is a wonderful pair with the Alphabet Picture Magnets because my students are using these to sort pictures by beginning and ending sounds. The magnetic Numbers and Counters are also being used with the whiteboard to present math problems and matching the numbers to the counters. The Jumbo Magnetic Ten-Frames are really assisting my students with adding and subtracting within 20. The Felt Board Story Kits are used to engage my students while I read to them. My students are so thankful for everything!”

Funded Jul 14, 2015Thank you so much for funding our class project! My students are using the materials for the classroom learning centers. The Community Puppets are for the Dramatic Play Center which assists them with oral language, our Language Arts lesson on Community Helpers, and reinforcing how these men and women help us on a daily basis. My students are selecting careers for themselves! The Pet Vet Center is teaching the students how to care for pets like a veterinarian and several students want to be a veterinarian. The center materials are truly needed and are reinforcing the skills that are taught in class.
My students were very excited to see the boxes delivered to class, so I allowed them to open them. They were thankful for the materials and enjoy learning through our classroom centers. Our next steps are to research each career based on the Community Puppets, write a report, and invite each person based on the puppets to visit our class for a career day presentation.”

Help Us With Basic Classroom Supplies
Funded Jun 11, 2013I would like to say thank you very much to all of you for your generosity and support in funding my class project "Help Us With Basic Supplies". My students and I are very appreciative of all of the class supplies that we received and I would like to share with you how my students and I are using these supplies.
Since we have received the word spacers, my students' writing has improved tremendously because they are using something to help them remember to space their words. The lap whiteboards, markers, and erasers are being used for daily handwriting practice, letter formation, phonics instruction, as well as for math instruction for my students to record their answers for daily math problems. The class set of markers and crayons are being used for expressing themselves through art, especially when they write. Lastly, the timers are helping me with time management as well as giving my students their fluency tests.
All of these wonderful supplies have enriched the lives of all of my students in a wonderful way academically. No longer do they have to share these supplies. I can now use these supplies whole group instead of small group. My students and I are truly grateful and again thank you so very much.”
