iPads for Robotics Projects

Your generosity has allowed the students at PS/MS 114 to take their learning of STEM education to the next level! We have used the iPads for various coding, programming and problem solving activities.
In the pictures that have been posted, you can see our students programming LEGO Mindstorm robots do to different tasks such as, following a line, stopping at objects and even maneuvering through a track. We have also used the iPads to help us learn how to code using the actual coding language of Java Script rather than just the 'blockly' language they were using in previous projects.
Thanks to all of the donors, students at PS/MS 114 will be able to continue to foster ingenuity and creativity and hopefully one day will be the leaders of the tech world in the future to come!”

We have been using many free websites in my technology classes. These websites are great and have given my students a foundation in the world of Computer Science. We want to continue to process of developing our students into SUPER CODERS, and with your help, we can make it happen! We have recently purchased Sphero Balls and Dash Robots (thanks to other donations from our community) and require the use of iPads. However, I only have 2 working iPads in my computer lab. These iPads will allow students to work collaboratively in upcoming ROBOTICS projects. The cases and charging station will ensure these iPads will be kept safe when they are being used, will have a good home to be stored in when charging, and will preserve the life of the iPads to be used by our future SUPER CODERS.
