  • Writers' Lab Final Edit

    My students have been so excited about the technology cabinets and digital frame. They are, by far, the most excited about the digital frame. I use it to display their work outside of my classroom. So many students are proud of their work, but I just didn't have enough wall space to share their work with everyone. The frame makes it possible for me to scan in everyone's work, so everyone gets recognized.

    Having the technology cabinets and multi-plug surge protectors have allowed me to keep technology readily available for students. We have done so much with them this year! I even have a space for students to securely store and charge their own devices. Thank you for this security!

    With the frame set up outside my classroom, in the library, I've had a multitude of students view the work and become interested in participating in some of the writing exercises we've done. Students who aren't even part of my classes are getting into writing! Thank you for this great project.”

  • Empowering Students by Writing with Technology

    The students were absolutely floored and excited when the laptops arrived! They could not wait to get them out of the boxes and start using them. They were really thankful and proud to have such great laptops.

    Originally, the laptops were meant for grammar practice and projects in my 7th grade writing class. Since the project was posted and the resources delivered, the laptops have been used for for even more purposes. They have been utilized for my creative writing class for the purposes of children's book writing and screen writing. Additionally, a new student who has mobility and writing issues was able to use a laptop to write assignments which would have otherwise been much more difficult and even painful for her to complete.

    The students are not afraid of grammar, look for any opportunity to turn to technology to complete assignments, and look forward to writing!”
