  • Supplies and Rewards

    Funded Jun 3, 2024

It is with deep appreciation I am sending this thank you to you. It has been a great start to our school year with all of our new supplies coming in to fill the classroom. The students and I are very excited to learn of each item and how we will be using them throughout the year.

Based on my current caseload, I have exceptional students that have varied learning abilities and all activities have to be able to be graded up and down. We need lots of rewards to keep going and going strong. This is where all the rewards we have coming in will come in handy. Why work without reward? Thank you for making sure that my students have exactly what they need and can find success in what they are doing.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. C.

  • Games and Learning

    Funded May 8, 2024

It was an exciting day in our county yesterday. It was the first day to school for 24-25 school year and I finished the day with the delivery of our new supplies!

I want to personally thank you for the materials we have been able to add. For my students, they need several ways to learn counting and colors. With our games we can put our knowledge to use and increase our working memory. None of that would be possible without you.

Thank you for making a difference to our small community and to many families with children with special needs!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. C.

  • Sensory and Fun

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

I am so excited to thank you for this project. We have our new items up and running in our sensory room and the difference in our room and our students in the room is extraordinary. I wish I could give you a front row seat to see the changes your donation have made and the calming effect it has on our students. I can't wait to see what a whole year of exposure to our new sensory adaptations can make for our students.

Thank you for caring enough to make a donation and to make our project come alive. Today, you are our heroes.”

    With gratitude,

  • Art For All

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful donations to our classroom of art supplies. We were able to begin using them immediately. We have made lots of arts and crafts projects with our new crayons, markers and colored pencils. We were literally down to the last of our crayons that had been broken and used throughout this year. With the new supplies our students have had an increase in their desire to work on art and for completing projects through to completion.

I thank each of you for making this possible for my students.”

  • Fill Our Classroom

    Funded Mar 12, 2024

I can't even begin to thank you enough for our wonderful new learning toys that were delivered to us this week. You would be impressed to see the centers we have already started and began working on this week. We are almost a brand new classroom with so many wonderful new additions.

I want to thank you for being the reason that we have new learning opportunities in our classroom. You have brought new ideas, new thoughts, new ways of learning along with a renewed interest in my students. Thank you for being our classroom heroes!”

    With gratitude,

  • STEM For All

    Funded Feb 14, 2024

I can't thank you enough for the kindness you have shown my students. Through use of the models we are working on, we are able to integrate so many concepts into our curriculum that make it fun and easily learned. What the plan was for with the models, has slowly begun to incorporate more skills and learning opportunities than we had even first imagined.

The students and I are extremely excited about the completion of the project and that gives us something to look forward to over the weekend and during the first of the week.

If not for your generosity, this opportunity would not have happened for my students. Thank you for being the amazing person you are!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. C.

  • Growth Through Community Service

    Funded Oct 26, 2023

We just received our materials this afternoon and are very excited about having the supplies arrive. Tomorrow is our professional development day and I will be able to come in and work on getting our materials ready. Our laminator and laminating sheets are just in time to get the visuals we need to help our students in the community. With our visuals in place, the students are better equipped to start and carry a conversation, sequence the activities correctly, and know the schedule for the events we are carrying out. We are very excited about tomorrow and getting our supplies ready for our students on Wednesday. Thank you for making this project possible! Without you, we could not have received the supplies we needed to make our students more successful.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. C.

  • Practice Before We Go in the Community

    Funded Oct 26, 2023

I am trying to calm down enough to thank you for this project being funded. It has been my dream to bring these appliances and opportunities to our students for years. It was not possible without you. Now, we are going to begin working on our cooking skills and learn to operate simple appliances safely and then move on to learning to cook for others. Once we have the learning to cook down, we are moving on to serving others and community service by serving those less fortunate or those who have difficulties.

I can't thank you enough for your support and your help in seeing this project completed. Because of you, others will benefit and we hope to start a cycle of helping others and those continuing that cycle. Your reach will help so many in our small community. Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

  • Mirror Mirror On The Wall

    Funded Sep 26, 2023

I wish you could have been in our room when the mirror was set up. It was absolutely amazing to see our students one by one, pull up to the mirror in their wheelchairs and situate themselves so they were sitting upright in the wheelchair and not leaning. This promotes positive benefits for their health and well being. It was an absolutely amazing day in our room.

Our students are learning independence and body positioning which they will carry over throughout their lives. This was a moment I won't soon forget. Thank you for giving these opportunities to my students.”
