I believe a throwable microphone would be a game changer in my classroom! How engaging, novel, fun, and exciting! Not only will something like this spark communication and speaking, but it will do so in a way that gets kids hyped and excited to do so. Speaking publicly is a great skill to accomplish and getting my students confident and ready to do that with their peers is so valuable. So many times I have students whose voices don't project and having this device will allow them to do so. The greatest way that I will use this is after reading a text and answering text-dependent questions that go with it. What a fabulous way for students to share their thinking and in a way in which everyone can hear them!
