• Portable Projector for Small Group Instruction

  Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom. The portable projector that we received was just what we needed to keep learning our first year after remote learning. With the portable projector, I was able to keep students safe and socially distanced - especially during spikes of Covid cases - by pulling students into the hallway or smaller classroom. The projector allowed me to give my students the opportunity to see presentations or other resources that could have only been done in the classroom where all the tech is available.

• Need Access to Quality Lessons

  With your support, I was able to access countless of lessons and other resources on the Teachers Pay Teachers site to support my students. At the beginning of the year, I was tasked with covering a couple of shortage content areas that required that I learn content at the same time I was teaching it but with the resources I purchased on the Teachers Pay Teachers site I was able to download step sheets for math to hellp guide my students through very difficult content with some confidence.

• Teacher MacBook to Engage Students

  At the beginning of the pandemic our school had to quickly adapt and distribute devices to the majority of our student popultion to facilitate remote learning that lasted more than a year and a half for our school. To ensure that all students had devices, teachers returned school issued laptops and instead used personal devices during remote learning. When school buildings reopened, many teachers struggled to get any work done while in the school building due to a shortage of electronic devices.

  Because of your donation, my transition back into the teaching in my classroom was more seamless. Having access to a light, portable macbook provided me the opportunity to work at home or in spaces that were not as crowded throughout the school day. And more importantly, I did not have to wait weeks to be issued a device by my school.”

• Lesson Help From Teacher Friends

  As a teacher to Students with Disabilities, making sure lessons are accessible is my top priority. In a regular year, I would spend hours co-planning and modifying lessons with with teachers to provide students the support they need. But this year I am faced with many challenges that prevent me from focusing on creating instructional supports for my students - especially in content area classes that I am not familiar with.

  Having access to lessons and supports from Teacher Pay Teachers has been so helpful. I have been able to download math step sheets, writing checklists and modified lessons that require little to no modifications that have saved me hours of research and planning. The time saved has allowed me to spend more time working one-on-one with students to provide individualized support.

• Breakout(Edu) of Remote Learning

  Thank you so much for donating to our class. The BreakoutEDU kit and platform access was invaluable to our class during remote learning. BreakoutEDU allowed our class to participate in games that encouraged critical thinking and fostered collaboration to help our class build community while working remotely. During remote learning, my students used BreakoutEdu games to review class content and to connect with classmates as they worked to solve clues in many of the games provided on the platform.

  As we transition into the classroom, we will use the BreakoutEDU kit more often to engage in games that will help support our Social and Emotional Learning. We appreciate you!”
