We are requesting dry erase surfaces for differentiated assignments and for color-coded brainstorming! I teach four different high school English classes, all of which write extensively. I would like to provide my students with clear directions that are easy to access. Doing that in a classroom that does not have ample writing space is very difficult. Color coding assignments will go a long way in providing visual differentiation between the classes and the expectations within the classes. Students love to brainstorm with dry erase boards and markers. Recovering my old, out-dated chalkboards will reinvigorate my students and allow them to have more fun with brainstorming and the writing process. Writing can be difficult, we can at least make it fun!
