My new curriculum calls for student-centered learning which means my students need to be able to hear each other speak loudly. That is not always easy for struggling students. The fear of being wrong often quiets the best, the brightest and the developing. Also, my classroom has a very loud window unit, which causes a lot of repetition in the the room. We are having to speak very loud and some students do not have the voice for that. My students need a fun way to project their voice while acquiring learning! The QBall is a fun way to engage students with learning while helping them to become confident with new content. The QBall is a throwable wireless microphone.
