If we take a look at classrooms over the past 70 years, we are seeing the same type of learning environment - desks in rows. The world is changing, yet our classrooms are pretty much the same. Studies prove that flexible seating is not only a great option, but a necessary change to improve health and learning.
Flexible seating will help my students become more self-aware of what will help them learn best. In turn this will empower them by having the opportunity to make choices.
I am confident that transforming our classroom with wobble chairs, reading pillows, and backpatter seats will increase engagement and motivation with my students.
