Financial Fun in First Grade!
Funded Dec 4, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation. Our class has really enjoyed learning about coins and using the visuals we acquired from Teacher Pay Teachers. We were able to download and print very details posters and student aides as they learned about money and counting money.
Thanks to your support, our class engaged in a wide range of activities and learning centers with the materials we bought. The students now all have realistic looking money to practice their financial literacy skills and they have had a lot of fun learning!
We sincerely appreciate all your kindness and support for our classroom. Thank you for being a part of our village as we educate the next generation.”

Funded May 8, 2024Thank you for helping to fill our learning centers with amazing new toys and materials! Your donation helped us bring each center to life with fun and interesting resources to explore. Our students lit up when they saw all the new items in our room! Some students were even jumping for joy (literally)!
There are amazing things happening in all our learning centers now thanks to you! The students are especially enjoying the new building materials in the blocks center. They are building and socializing in so many ways! Our students also especially love exploring with magnets and learning all about how they work. The feltboards have created so many opportunities to practice language skills and story telling.

Funded May 24, 2024Thank you for the generous donation! The materials that were donated have helped create a rich learning environment in our discovery & science center. It was such a pleasure to watch their eyes light up when they saw the new toys and tools! It has been such a joy to watch as they explore new ideas and topics!
One of the most exciting things to happen in our classroom with the new materials was watching the students explore the use of light with flashlights. On their own, students created different looking shadows with each other and explored making different shapes in the light. This has helped to create not just learning opportunities, but also fun socializing opportunities among the children. We happily watch as the children work cooperatively to build different structures with the different building materials.
We hope to expand our STEM materials and learning opportunities in the coming years. Our latest donation has shown us that the right tools and toys can create a rich science foundation in young learners.”

Funded Apr 6, 2023Your generous donation of a new color printer has helped enrich our learning environment immensely. Our printer has allowed us to print pictures of students and their families as well as add wonderful resources for our lessons. Having pictures of themselves throughout the classroom and during lessons has made learning personal and more meaningful to our students. I can see the difference in engagement and enjoyment ad in overall progress and learning.
Having bright, colorful resources to use in lessons has provided a rich learning environment for my students. One great example of this was a recycling unit that we did. We were able to print bright pictures and manipulatives that enhanced the lesson and level of learning. We were also able to print and share pictures that families sent in of our students recycling at home. Having our printer and the ability to print these resources really brought this lesson to life.
Your donation will continue to provide valuable resources for our lessons and make them more personal. Thank you for your generous gift!”

Books Books Books!
Funded Mar 30, 2023Thank you for the opportunity to give my students a love of reading! Story time and our library center have come to life thanks to your generous donation. I am able to read so many more classic stories as well as provide excellent books on our themes, such as changing seasons and transportation.
Your donations have provided the resources for my students to practice all kinds of early literacy skills. They are often found sharing books and turning the pages of their favorite stories together. You have helped to spark curiosity and a love for books that we could not have done without the wonderful books we received. Thank you for helping provide my students with such an amazing library!”

Funded Mar 3, 2023Our students' faces lit up when they saw their new toys! Every learning center is always full of children learning and exploring the new materials. The dramatic play center is a big hit now with our new dress up clothes and their imaginations are running wild! Our students engage in pretend play with each other all the time now and it's been amazing to watch their language and vocabularies grow while they socialize. My favorite moment was the first time a group of students put their dress up clothes on and had a tea party together. The writing center and literacy centers are busier than ever and our students love practicing their letters while having fun. It's amazing to see how much these materials have helped my students grow in such a short amount of time. We are truly grateful to have the toys we need to help our students have fun and learn at the same time.
Now that our students have the toys they need for our learning centers, we are focused on introducing more books to them that will enhance what they are learning and doing in their play. I believe that with the right books and materials our students will have the rich educational environment that they need to help them be successful for years to come.”
