Flexible seating options provide students the opportunity to take control of how they learn. This in turn motivates them to stay on task and complete their projects. Flexible seating allows the students to be and feel comfortable in the classroom, thus increasing learning. The specific flexible seating requested for this project are four wobble chairs and 12 flex-space wobble cushions. Students feel empowered when they are given the opportunity to make more choices. By providing options, students are more likely to work hard and be motivated to complete school projects. They will feel a greater pride in how they are able to make decisions. The benefit to flexible seating is for all students! It serves those with special needs, those with attention disorders, those that achieve higher academically as well as all students in between.
