Books of the Month
Funded Dec 31, 2021As always, we are so appreciative of your support and donation to our classroom. Students were so excited when our bookshelf got delivered and set up! Students even helped to clear off the old bookshelf and stock up our brand new one with seasonal books. Right now, we have books displayed for winter and for Martin Luther King Jr. day. I love how nicely the bookshelf sits in the front of the room under the Smartboard. Students spent all day asking to go pick a book out to read during independent reading time. Thank you for helping me foster a love for reading in my classroom. You are helping to make a difference in my student's lives.”

Funded Oct 30, 2021Thank you so much for donating to my class project. Flashlight Friday has been a success! Students love doing this at the end of the week and it is fostering an excitement and love for reading. The flashlights are the perfect size for them and they love all the colors. Additionally, the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards has helped me immensely to supplement my curriculum materials. I have been able to create engaging centers for math and reading that I will use for years to come. Thank you again for your continued support! My students and I are grateful.”

Funded Mar 15, 2021Thank you for your generosity and support in my Donors Chose project. My students are really utilizing the noise cancelling headphones. I have them available to use at any point during the day if a student is feeling over stimulated or just needs a quiet break. My students love the fun and bright colors and designs of the headphones. This has especially benefitted my students who were remote for a large portion of last year as they are still acclimating into the activity in the classroom. Thank you again to choosing to donate to my project.”

Math VersaTiles
Funded Mar 2, 2020I can't thank you enough for donating to my project. My students and I are obsessed with with Versatiles!!! Every time I pull them out my students are filled with excitement.
I use the Versatiles during small group time. The Versatiles provide hands on math practice to students and help amp up my small group lessons. I love watching students focus and work hard to use the tiles. They are so proud of themselves when they complete the page and get it all right!
This tool has been especially beneficial to students who need to move their bodies in order to focus. Thank you so much for your donation and support.”

Funded Jan 14, 2021I can't thank you enough for choosing to donate to my project. I am using my standing desk daily in my classroom and it is improved my ability to reach all of my students while teaching in the classroom as well as from home.
When my students first saw the desk they were so excited that it was "HUGE" and that I could roll it around the room. This has impacted my virtual students the most because now the laptop I use to video with them is placed on the desk which can be moved closer to the Smartboard. They can see much better now that I have the standing desk.
It also has helped me immensely because I can fit both my laptop and my materials on the standing desk. This has been amazing since I had to remove my normal desk from the classroom to accommodate students sitting 6 feet apart. Thank you so much for your generosity and for helping me and my first graders!!”

Can You Hear Me Now?
Funded Dec 10, 2020I want to thank you again for donating to my project, "Can You Hear Me Now" for a Q-ball microphone. This technology is helping to project student's voices when it is very difficult to do so while wearing a mask. Using the Q-ball amplifies my student's voices without them having to scream.
My students love the Q-ball. It is new, different, and provides an exciting element to any lesson. Students are participating more and engaged in lessons because they are excited to use the microphone.
This has worked especially well for my shy and quiet students who now look at participating as something fun. Thank you for your donations!”

Funded Jun 18, 2020I want to thank you again for your generosity in donating to my project. My book cart has been such an asset this year in getting books into children's hands. It has been one thing that I have been able to use for some sense of normalcy during this unconventional school year. At the beginning of each week, students are able to "shop" for books from the book cart that they read throughout the week. The students love how many books they get to choose from and can scan with ease. Thank you for supporting me and my students!”
