  • Let's Make Some Art!

    Funded Nov 22, 2022

WOW! My students were so surprised when they got to see all of our new art supplies. We have already dug into a lot of the supplies. Our new water colors and paint brushes have enabled us to make some amazing paintings. We have gotten to explore various types of paper to water color on as well. My students and I are looking forward to using the mosaic tiles to create winter decorations.

My students are in kindergarten and often times they don't get the time to just create and make, but now they have ample supplies to bring out their creative sides. Thank you so much for helping me get art back into the classroom. And thank you for believing in my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lalande

  • Let's Wiggle

    Funded Oct 24, 2022

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project! My students were super excited to not only have brand new seating choices, but were able to select from a variety of options. Every student loved that we received alternative seating that is an option for everyone.

My students get to come into the classroom every day and select a seating option that is going to work for them for that particular day. We have had several other students and teachers come by our classroom to see the seating options in action. More of my students are focused and are having their needs met when it comes to seating in the classroom.

Without your generosity, we would not have had enough options for all of our students. Thank you again for helping to enhance my students' learning. It is greatly appreciated!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lalande

  • Let's Play and Learn

    Funded Mar 1, 2022

Thank you so much for helping my classroom get these amazing learning toys!! We started using each game as a whole group and when I say they were excited, they were STOKED!!!! They were so happy that grown-ups that they have never met wanted to make learning fun for them.

The unboxing of the games was a fun activity. We had so much fun making predictions of what could be in the box. We had fun looking at each game and thinking of how we could use it in the classroom and how we could use it to help us with reading and math.

Thank you so much for caring about my students and helping us get exciting learning games.”

  • Time to Cozy Up

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

We love our cozy classroom rug!! This is probably one of the most used things in our classroom! We use it for whole group lessons/activities at least once a day. When we do math rotations, my students use the rug for our partner games station. And throughout the day, you can regularly find students laying on the rug and reading a good book.

One of my favorite parts of the day is when we do our Mindful Moment. After recess and lunch, we take a few minutes to regroup, focus on our breathing and prepare ourselves for the rest of our afternoon of learning. The rug is perfect for this time. Students are able to sit in their own space and really work on focusing without distractions.

It's so great having this rug in our classroom and I can't remember what we did in our classroom without it! Thank you so much for your support for our classroom!”

  • Color Our Classroom

    Funded Aug 12, 2020

All I can say right now is WOW! You all have made our learning dreams come true. It's been a struggle getting assignments, activities, and other things printed in our classroom. The students will be excited to get their "Tool Kit" supplies printed in color. My students with special disabilities need color visuals to follow daily routines and schedules.

Thank you again for giving us these amazing supplies that are making the learning environment fun and innovative. Our daily activities are filled with color. THANK YOU so much for supporting our class!”

  • Summer Sunshine for Soaring into First Grade!

    Funded May 28, 2020

This project provided me an amazing resource to give to each of my student. Many of my students live in households where they are the only ones that speak English. Students were able to use these workbooks to master skills that might have otherwise been lost. Students were able to use these workbooks at an independent pace and earn stickers and rewards as they finished "levels." Within the math units they were able to practice simple addition and subtraction and even push their skills with simple place value. You helped provide a fun learning tool for each child, and for this I am extremely grateful. Thank you so much for helping me reach every child!”

  • Books, Books, and More Books!

    Funded Sep 17, 2019

This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The leveled reader books that you donated have helped my students with reading every single day. We have used them daily in our small group reading instruction, as well as reading independently. The students have really enjoyed getting to read books that are "just right" for them. The leveled readers have allowed even my lowest ones to be successful.

Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United States would go without.”

  • Books, Books, and More Books!

    Funded Feb 21, 2019

WOW! My students were so surprised when they got to see all of our new reading material. Most of my students have so much curiosity about the world around them and thanks to you, you have gotten them a little glimpse into a HUGE world around them. These books have sparked my students' curiosity that will keep them reading, get them to ask deeper questions, and inspire them to start their own learning journeys.

My students are in fourth and fifth grade and often times they haven't touched reading material that relates to them directly. Thanks to the wide range of books, they are making those huge connections! Thank you so much!”

When was the last time you heard an amazing book read to you or read one yourself? I want my students to have this amazing opportunity everyday in our classroom. I teach fifth grade in a low-income, Title 1 school. My classroom is quite diverse, but one thing that we all have in common is our love of books and learning.
