I am a second grade teacher at an inner city school. The students are considered advanced for the grade level. The school is located in a high poverty area of the city and the students are on free lunch. The parental involvement is not the best because the majority of our parents work during the day. I also have a non advanced class and they are hard working students who love to learn.
