The ipad will allow me to multi-task during lectures in ways that were limited before this. I can give a presentation and write on it at the same time. I won't need to give a presentation from one side of the room and make notes on the board in another area. It's all right here on the screen. This means that lessons will come alive and be more interactive. There are many apps available that I can use to create basic presentations and add on with the apple pencil using real-time student input. This is true for all subjects that I teach: math, reading, writing, ESL, social studies, art, performing art and science. I will be able to use this little machine as a great tool in teaching, presenting and practicing. I can take notes on slides or any page that I am showing. I can give real-time feedback and students will be able to communicate about effective strategies and ways to make improvements. This will truly enhance the school day in all ways.
