Having these glow materials helps us create an unforgettable experience for our Kindergarten reading Buddy times! My fifth graders love hosting these precious members of our school community in our classroom for shared literacy time. I was able to find great resources on Teachers Pay Teacher to help facilitate these literacy tasks. The fifth graders and Kindergartners were equally excited and engaged in these special events. They enter a glowing classroom and use highlighters to make their written responses visible in the dark. Thank you Allstate for your generous donation to our classroom and helping us glow!”

My students love having these adjustable stools in our classroom! We have been able to host reading buddy time with our Kindergarteners. These stools provide the extra seating needed for when they come visit our classroom. They also provide flexible seating for when students need an option other than sitting at their desk. Students have enjoyed that they are adjustable so that they can make them taller or shorter as needed. This is also a big plus for when our kindergarten friends join us. They also love that they can turn in them and wiggle a bit to provide movement while reading or working on something.”

We are so grateful for your generous donation to our classroom this year! We were able to get a Cricut machine and accessories to make projects that promote wellness and kindness in our school community. Our latest project was making an encouraging puzzle with positive affirmations for next year's class. My current fifth graders, enjoyed the whole design process from start to finish. They picked which positive mine set phrase they liked the best and created a beautiful piece of art. They then used the computer and cricket maker to cut their art into a puzzle for the next class of 5th grade students to complete and receive an awesome message.”

Students have flexible, seating options for restorative Justice meetings and also small group instruction. They have really enjoyed being able to have this seating option in our room. They allow us to form circles anywhere in the classroom, and provide comfortable seating, especially for students who need to be able to move a little bit in their seat. We are truly grateful for donors like you who make adding these innovations to our classroom a reality.”

We are so happy to have more access to Nearpod in our classroom this year, thanks to our amazing donors. We have been enjoying great lessons about Lunar Near Year, Black History Month, Women's history month, and much more. The students love the interactive collaborative discussion boards and engaging videos that are embedded into many of the lessons. It allows for whole group guided lessons as well as self-paced learning opportunities for students to work independently. My students are always excited when they see the Nearpod lesson code on our agenda for the day.”

My students absolutely love our calming corner. They love being able to go there as a wellness center during center times, and having the option to go there when needed throughout the day to calm down during stressful times. They love the light covers that cover all of our harsh, bright lights around the room. It is nice for them to be able to look up and see a sky pattern instead of bright white lights. Our bookshelf is full of amazing books to help them with mindfulness and calming down. They love the comfy chairs to be able to sit in as well. Another popular choice in the coming area is using the yoga cards.”

My students have enjoyed the escape room challenge activities that I have purchased with the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards. They provide my students with an extremely engaging and interactive way to practice a variety of reading and language skills. My students have really been enjoying having an alternative seating arrangement in our classroom. Having the Surf Desk seats allow them to sit comfortably at the carpet and have a surface to do work on. Many of my students enjoy using these seats to sit right in front of the board during my lesson. It allows them to see the board clearly and stay focused on the lesson.
Storing these Surf Desks is so much easier now that we have the storage system that was made for them. They are no longer sliding off the pile and falling all over the classroom carpet.”

My students have really been enjoying having the opportunity to use bicycle pedals under their desks while they are working in class. It has really helped my students who really need to move throughout the day to help them focus on learning.
Students have big smiles on their faces when they are using their bicycles. It makes them feel excited about learning and motivated to get their work done. They are a part of my flexible seating rotations, and they are often the first thing selected by my students.”
