They will now be getting EVEN MORE support I could only dream of providing them. My therapy materials closet is stocked full of wonderful goodies that will be used daily! We're so incredibly happy here in the speech room.

Funded Feb 28, 2022Just like Wonder Woman, you came to the rescue! All these materials are helping my students with disabilities "Power Up!" and improve their phonics skills. By seeing, hearing and getting a tactile sensation, children make new neuron connections (motor pathways) to support memory skills. They "Hot Dots" phonic practices books provide the aforementioned sensory input and my students are getting better each day and referencing their muscle memory skills and know the difference between the beginning sound, middle and end sounds in words to blend them together while reading!
The green rolling cart was another excellent gift to us as it allows for me to store all the flash cards that were donated as well as my frequently used supplies. It is short so it's at student eye level and easy to access when needed to encourage more independence to get a supply themselves.
Thanks to your kind and generous donations, my students are becoming the best versions of themselves they can be! We are looking forward to another wonderful school year together and becoming better speakers, readers and self-sufficient members of society!”

Funded Dec 25, 2020Thank you so much for taking the time to find my project and deem it worthy of your hard earned money. I am deeply humbled that you choose to help us. My students are beyond thrilled with all the online learning activities they have access to; especially if they are home quarantining and don't have all their school materials. Now with digital resources they can access passages, games, videos and interactive flash cards while at home learning or on remote days- previously known as snow days! We also learned some important lessons about the power of goodness and appreciation. All the best from the best kids in Brooklyn!”

Funded May 14, 2020Thank you so much for your incredible gift and assistance during our transition to fully remote teletherapy because of COVID-19! It has truly been a life saver given that we can now "see" our work in real time. The ability to share and extend into a child's home (with safety and permission) via a document camera has lifted such a burden. My students can now read books with me, witness my hand mannerisms and view in real time what I'm doing with the pages. I am able to display decks of cards and draw images with a pencil on the fly. Although it's not the same as doing it in front of them, I truly feel this helps bridge the gap with my special needs friends; which was essential component for said visual learners! This pandemic has changed they way we do speech/language therapy in many ways. It has reminded us of how important is it to be flexible in order to survive and thrive. With your support and donations, I can now "see" the light at the end of the tunnel and know things will be ok. Thank you for helping us in our deepest hour of need! Stay safe, wear a mask and be well. XOXO.”

Funded Jun 4, 2019What can I say?! You have come to the rescue of the speech room yet again! I can't believe this platform exists but I am SO incredibly grateful that it does... and I have your love and support to make this journey a bit easier for my students. I too, am eternally grateful for the assistance as it allows me to focus on the most important part...teaching/speech and language therapy!
The wiggle seats (cushions) are amazing in helping my students concentrate, get their sensory input and become "Whole Body Listeners!" They love to grab a "special seat" and get ready to work; what a difference they make. The jumbo spinner is the hit of the speech room! Everyone wants a turn and it's a huge motivator. I LOVE that I can write anything I need and wipe it off for the next group based on the lesson.
Furthermore, my students can't wait to "relax and read" on the new bean bag chairs. They ask for stories all the time because it means they get to sit on them; which is fine by me because it means more literacy exposure! A win win for all :) Lastly, the paper allows for the student's to transfer their hard work onto colorfully displayed masterpieces. They are super proud of what they created.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving my students the opportunity to maximize their speech/language therapy and reach their potential. You allowed this to happen with your wonderful donations!”

Swinging Into a New Year With Super Speech Supplies!
Funded Mar 27, 2018It is difficult to put into words what this donation means to me, but I will try. My students were so elated when all the packages arrived; they were fighting to see who could help me open them first! Here are a few examples of how the resources helped my therapy room:
* The new bean bag ensured each student in therapy could have a turn to complete their work with a flexible seating option.
* The puppet theater gave a student confidence to speak about her stutter through imaginative play. It helped place her anxiety on the puppet instead of herself.
*My bulletin board was engaging and colorful because of the ink that was supplied. It showcased my student's amazing work for their parents to see during conference night.
*The grammar cards assisted English Language Learners understand the structure of a new and intimidating language through an engaging and visual way.
I could go on but I only have a limited amount of space! Needless to say, my students will now be getting the support I could only dream of providing them. My therapy materials closet is stocked full of wonderful goodies that will be used daily! We're so incredibly happy here in the speech room.
I can't say this enough but...RIPPLE ROCKS! I never heard of a corporation doing something so tremendous to help millions of students across the country! What an extraordinary accomplishment and gift to society. You have created an enormous RIPPLE of support that will impact many classrooms for years to come! RIPPLE WE ARE THANKING YOU 29 MILLION TIMES!! Also, many thanks to the wonderful support from Nancy and Sean on every project of mine! So much love to you always!”

Funded Jan 25, 2018Thank you so much for your wonderful donation to keeping us cool in the speech room! It is starting to get humid now and our brains and bodies are very appreciative for the fans. They will help my students concentrate on their work and be comfortable in the process.
My students were super excited to open the boxes and wanted to install them right away! They are experts in turning them on and off as well. It was also a good opportunity to discuss temperature, climate, electricity and how to conserve energy. The importance of not wasting power is discussed each time we use the fans. We truly are grateful for your support and consideration. We are your biggest FAN!”

Funded Dec 4, 2016What an incredible gift you have given to my students. It's safe to say their smiles were priceless. You have greatly improved their motivation during our speech/language therapy sessions. Here are just some of the wonderful ways in which you have enriched their lives and progress! For example, they cannot wait to use the ipad for any and every task! As you can see in the photos, we are able to stream educational videos, research information, engage in socialization activities and make the learning process FUN! I cannot begin to tell you how effective having an ipad is in regards to multi-sensory learners.
We have been able to print out beautiful COLORED work that helps keep the kids engaged and more accountable of their progress. I was able to print out and display common core/speech standards for them to understand what is expected as well as have a visual reminder of their goals. My middle school students were able to complete an in-depth music analysis that involved their interests and still allowed them create 4 paragraph essays!! A task that is often strenuous for students with learning difficulties. Having a printer let them be more independent and engaged in the research process. My younger students cannot wait to see what beautiful images I have prepared for the day(e.g.,., mini story books, sight word handouts, sentence starters and Autism friendly picture charts).
Thank you so much for taking the time to find my project and deem it worthy of your hard earned money. I am deeply humbled that you choose to help us. My students are beyond thrilled to use these new tools. We also learned some important lessons about the power of goodness and appreciation. All the best from the best kids in Brooklyn!”
