• Goodbye Germs!

  On behalf of Anning S. Prall I.S.27 I am writing to express our sincere gratitude for your generous donations of cleaning supplies. Your contributions have made a significant impact on ensuring a clean and healthy learning environment for our students.

  As you know, maintaining proper hygiene and cleanliness in school facilities is crucial for promoting a conducive learning atmosphere and safeguarding the well-being of our students and staff. Your donations of cleaning products, such as disinfectants, paper towels, and sanitizing wipes, have been invaluable in our efforts to keep our classrooms, restrooms, and common areas clean and sanitized.

  Your support has not only provided us with the necessary supplies but has also alleviated the financial burden on our school, allowing us to allocate more resources towards educational programs and student enrichment activities. • First Day Inspirational School Supplies!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! We were able to give out the backpacks and fill them with not just school supplies, but inspiration school supplies. The students who received the supplies, were so HAPPY! I wish you could have seen the look on their faces.

  Seeing them put the inspirational quote stickers on their notebooks with a smile on their face made my heart melt. They now have multiple quotes to look at during the day to help them. One of the students came to me yesterday, that her pen with the inspirational quote on it helped her during her test. She felt like she wasn't doing well and needed some hope, she read the quote on her pen.

  Thank you again for your donation. You have helped so many students and now those students don't have to worry about finically affording school supplies and can focus on their school work.”

• Social Stories are Fun and Easy to Learn for Autism!

  Thank you so much for donating towards my project. You have helped not only my autistic students, but all of my students. I have been able to get fun and interacting actives to help student express themselves in an appropriate way. Since COVID, a lot of students are struggling with expressing themselves due to the pandemic. I am able to research these lessons and really take the time too go through it with my students.

• Feel Clean and Ready to Learn!

  Thank you again for your generous donation! You have already helped so many students and their families not worry about buying hygiene products. They now don't have to worry about being able to afford basic hygiene products. I even sat down with some of my students and explained to them how to properly wash their face with the face wash, moisturizer and wash cloth. They are going through puberty and its important for them to know how to use the products and why its important. Before giving out the hygiene products, we teach them how to use each thing so they understand and ask questions. I seriously can't thank you all enough because there are a lot of smiles on their faces I wish you can see when I hand them a care package! It makes my whole day.”

• 1st Day School Supplies

  First of all- THANK YOU! You have no idea how much you have impacted some of our students! When we notice a student not coming to school with any supplies or even a notebook, that's where your donation helped!

  We have already given out most of the backpacks (they loved that they had a choice of 4 different colors instead of just being handed one). The pencil cases are a hit! Most of my students come to me everyday to show me they haven't lost it or they still have their pens/pencils! Haha. I even put . label with their name on it so if they do loose it.

  We received binders from another donors choose from another teacher- so we have been filling the looseleaf you provided in them. They are so grateful for the hand sanitizer as well! The bins of hand sanitizers are all located on each floor in a counselors office. I even had one student ask me if he can take one for his brother because he has bad allergies- of course I gave him one!

  Thank you so much for helping these students on their first day of school and not feeling embarrassed to walk around school with supplies! They are staying hydrated throughout the day with a water bottle as well. It is still hot out, so we need to make sure they get enough water!! Thank you again- you have truly made a difference here at I.S. 61”
