To Type, Perchance to Print
Funded Feb 17, 2009On behalf of the students in my classes, I thank you for your generous gift. As we enter into our last 9 week period for this school year, it is comforting to know that I can provide my students with all of the printed material they need to master their lessons in science class.
During the last grading period, I have my students do multiple reports and multimedia presentations on various body systems. Being able to print out the fruits of their labors not only makes the job of scoring their projects easier, it allows me to sit down with each student and go through their work to emphasize all they did correctly and what could have been done better. This hard-copy feedback makes quite a difference in the outcome of the learning process. We have you, dear Donors, to thank for helping add this dimension to our classes.
Not only does your contribution to my class enrich the learning experience for my students, it also teaches them that it is a good thing to help out other people. Your generosity teaches these children that people helping people is an honorable thing in life, and that lesson will follow them long after they have graduated from high school and moved on to college.
Again, I thank you for all that you do for some of the best kids in the world!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Felder
