My Foods classes are in desperate need of new dish clothes, towels, and oven mitts. I have inherited equipment from a teacher that taught many decades. Much of what she left is WONDERFUL but the linens are slowly falling apart. Many of the oven mitts are thin and do not have the insulation they need to prevent burns. New linens will help the students be more bold when removing items from the oven, as well as keep the kitchens sanitary. This will help the students focus on what they are learning during the cooking labs and during clean-up that follows cooking labs.
