Comfort Corner Created from COVID Chaos
Funded Oct 25, 2022Thank you so very much for choosing to donate to my Comfort Corner. My students were so excited when they saw me unpacking your generous donations. They were especially thrilled with the bean bag chairs. Students use the corner daily to relax, regroup, and reengage. It has been extremely helpful with a specific student who needs a place to go when he becomes overwhelmed during the school day. He and I both know he has a safe place to retreat to and materials and strategy posters to help calm himself. This spot in the classroom has helped immensely with classroom management and behavior support. It provides students with much needed supports to help them regulate their feelings and emotions.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Osborne
Crazy for Chromebooks
Funded Sep 24, 2015Thank you so much for donating to our classroom for the Chromebooks we needed! The students were so surprised and excited to learn that we would be getting new Chromebooks to use in the classroom!
The students are using the Chromebooks to further their progress on ST Math, and they also have the opportunity to use them to take quizzes on Accelerated Reader books in order to try to meet their reading goals.
These Chromebooks have really made a difference in our classroom because they are the only student computers we have that we don't have limited access to like the pod computers.
Thank you all again so much!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Osborne
