  • Working Wireless

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

    Having the project Working Wirelessly fully funded has made my teaching more innovative and has captured the attention of class visitors. I am able to control my Interactive Whiteboard (which projects my computer onto a huge screen) from anywhere in the room. With the wireless keyboard and mouse I am mobile with ease. Before the products arrived, I would need to stand directly in front of the Interactive Board often blocking students' view. Since students can "touch" the board and complete activities, the wireless products help me to stay out of the way and let them work. This project being funded was a real game changer. I look forward to using all of my wireless products every year! Thank you so much!”

  • Books Come to Life!

    The use of headphones for each student has had a tremendous impact on learning in our classroom. Students are able to read, play math games, work with partners and a host of online activities that we are still exploring. We are working quietly while wearing our headphones, so as not to distract others. The students who don't have technology at home (computers, laptops or tablets) have become experts in getting online and using a host of online tools. In addition, we are able to log in more often making them "future ready" when it comes to computer usage and technology. Thank you so much for your donations, it is making a difference in my students' learning, self esteem and confidence.”

We love reading online! My class of 24 students has read over 500 ebook titles this year. Reading daily increases comprehension, fluency and confidence. We also love solving math problems and playing engaging math games online. They love a good math challenge! With headphones for every student, no one will be turned away from listening to ebooks online and playing math games that may disturb their classmates because there aren't enough headphones for everyone. At school, they have access to laptops and WiFi that is not always available at home. They are so passionate and it breaks my heart knowing we don't have enough headphones for everyone.
