These students were a part of the Literacy team at Renaissance Middle School. Most of our productions were done on the stage in the gym after numerous months of practice . This was" The Wizard of RMS" one of the many productions we have put on. We liked to enhance Literacy through our school because we have found that sometimes behavioral issues come when students cannot perform academically. We practiced mindfulness and self regulation with our students handling issues they may go through during their middle school years(bullying, Depression, anxiety, etc.). through the use of drama!
