Keeping kids in school and making sure they're safe and healthy while they're there is our most important job as school nurses. COVID-19 is going to provide unprecedented challenges this year to nurses. Being able to maintain a clean space for medical needs will be critical in keeping both students and staff healthy! We plan on utilizing the H13 HepA filters in the nurse's office and our isolation room, which we'll dedicate to any student or staff member who is symptomatic and waiting to go home, and the UV wands will allow us to quickly sanitize commonly used items in the office. Hopefully with these additional precautions, in addition to other measures taken by our district and the staff, we can keep our students healthy and give them a little bit of normalcy they so desperately need.
