Buzzing into small groups!
Funded Apr 6, 2023I just want to thank you for your support of our project. The result of having these pagers in my classroom has been felt immensely. We use our pagers daily during math, reading, and writing when a question arises.
Another added benefit of the pagers is the independence I have seen in my students. Instead of waiting at my table for me to answer a question, students continue to work until they are paged.
The students have loved these as well. At first I think many would grab a pager just to be paged but quickly learned the purpose and use them as needed.
Thank you again!”

Funded Aug 10, 2022I will never forget the look on the faces of my students when the custodial staff wheeled in the large boxes. It was the look of pure joy and excitement, like a child at Christmas. I explained that the project that we had all written and watched daily on the computer to see if it had been funded was here! One of my students began to cry, he said it was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for him at school.
The students immediately unpacked the boxes and looked over the new rocker stools, bouncy chairs and stress balls. Each of my students knew which one would help them the most. There was no arguing over who got what, it was a beautiful sight. To see my students that suffer from severe ADHD and ODD rocking or squishing their stress balls instead of acting out was amazing.
I think in the future we will look into specialized bands for leg movement and maybe special writing instruments that are soothing to the touch. My student's have shown enormous growth behaviorally since we received our stools, bouncy chairs and stress balls. I can not thank you enough for the encouragement that you have given these kids!”

Funded Apr 21, 2021Thank you so much for supporting our project and keep us physically and mentally fit! We all know that children are a ball of energy but many times we constantly encouraging students to settle down, slow down, and keep their focus. But how could anyone focus with that extra energy built up inside? I know I can't and I also know I will continue enjoying this activity alongside my students and the many others who will enjoy this amazing project!
That's right! Your generosity will touch many and all are able to jump their sillies out, with this project, and it is all because of YOU! So thank you, you are appreciated!”

Funded Aug 7, 2020My students and I are very excited to begin using our new yoga mats. Each student has their own, individual, yoga mat to use daily. The yoga mat indicates the student's personal space for them in the classroom. Having yoga mats helps us, as a class, to maintain social distancing and safe in the classroom. The yoga mats have been placed in the classroom in a way for students to remain socially distanced yet, still be able to interact with each other. My kiddos love that they have their own personal space!”

Funded Nov 19, 2020This project is near and dear to my heart. I have used flexible seating in the past and this by far exceeds my expectations. The students have loved the flexibility of laying on the floor to do their work, sitting up, or using the floor desks. I have seen so much improvement in student focus and motivation when students are given choice. The best part of all is that students are choosing seats that help them to feel successful and confident in their own learning. All these are excellent 21st century skills and are helping to prepare my kids for life outside of the classroom!
Thank you again so much, your kindness and generosity never cease to amaze me.”

Funded Sep 23, 2019Thank you so much for your kind donations to this math project. My students were so excited to get new math materials! Math is often a struggle for many students and these manipulatives have been a huge help to the children who need more concrete learning.
On the first day we received our package, we were able to use our base ten blocks and to work on addition with regrouping. Some of the students 'light bulbs' immediately went on when they were able to manipulate the tools and really grasp the concept of regrouping. Smiles were bright. Students were engaged.
The center math manipulatives have been used during intervention time. Students are working on their math facts and revisiting place value. Every student that has used them have expressed how much they enjoy using the manipulatives with the task cards.
Once again, I cannot express enough gratitude for helping to fund this project and the impact it has made on my current students and what it will do for future students.”

Listen to Me!
Funded Mar 9, 2019My students and I are overwhelmed by your support and marvelous words of encouragement. Your gifts will make an immediate and measurable difference in the lives of many students by validating that a dream well planned and executed can be reached. You have shown that people beyond our small town care about learning and that we are all a part of a larger community.
The learning tools you have provided will allow students to expand and explore their own creativity. Plans are already being hatched for teacher/student podcasts. The equipment will be available to them during school and after so that they have extended periods of time to problem solve.
We look forward to sharing the next step of the adventure with you!”

Coding for 21st Century Learners
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you very much for your support to help my students have hands-on equipment to learn how to code. Students work in small groups to learn the different codes to make the Ozobot follow their directions. They have learned how to make it go fast or slow, turn around, or spin. When the Ozobot reads their codes correctly, the children get so excited and feel good about their accomplishments!
Students come to school excited for STEAM Friday. They are dedicated to creating their communities for the Ozobot to travel through. The impact from coding and working collaboratively in groups has been seen immensely in my classroom. Students are understanding how the colors work to make the robot move. They are also learning life skills on how to work in a group, communicate effectively, and merge ideas together in order to be successful.”

Funded Aug 30, 2017Thank you for helping to fund our projects for Broadway Bulldogs! We started the theater program about a month ago with auditions and have since had three great practices! We have started rehearsing our music for the play and the students are so excited to learn the songs and choreography. They love the dance moves to Surfin' USA that we have begun to practice.
As we have been rehearsing, the students have become more comfortable learning the music. The books and Cd's that came with the materials have really helped the students to grasp the music. It is so exciting to see their progress in these short few weeks.
I am excited to see what the performance looks like in March. I know these children will rock the stage and lay the foundation for future performers for our Broadway Bulldogs!
Thank you so much for helping make this possible and getting our program started!”
