  • Get Hooked with Active Gaming

    Funded Feb 13, 2025

On behalf of Bay View Physical Education, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for your generous donation towards our Active Gaming Grant. Your support in funding five gaming systems is not only incredibly meaningful, but it will make a profound impact on the lives of the students who will benefit from it.

Thanks to your kindness, we are now able to offer a unique, interactive learning experience that blends physical activity with engaging gameplay. Our students will use these systems to enhance both their fitness and cognitive skills in an enjoyable and motivating way. These systems will encourage collaboration, teamwork, and healthy competition, allowing students to explore new ways to stay active and learn valuable skills that will last a lifetime.

The addition of these gaming systems is more than just a technology upgrade; it's a way to inspire creativity and foster positive behaviors in our students. We look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on their well-being and overall development.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Bieszk

  • In a Pickle, Come Learn Pickle Ball With Us!

    Funded May 10, 2023

We are profoundly grateful for your generous donation of Pickleball paddles to our physical education program. Your kindness has had a tremendous impact on our students, enriching their physical education experience and fostering a love for lifelong activity in an ever growing sport. The new equipment has not only enhanced their skills but also promoted teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. Our students really enjoyed getting to use the paddles as they were a major upgrade to what we had before. Thank you for your support and for making a positive difference in our students' lives.”

  • Games for Student Team Building

    Funded May 10, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom and creating opportunities for students to bond, create challenges, teamwork, and inclusion. Tenzi was the fan favorite game of our classroom as it was fast paced and there was multiple different ways to play. Our students loved to create round robin tournaments with our games so they could get around to play everyone and have top 3 teams of each game. Our students were able to learn these games at school and then some of them even bought their own to play at home with their families!”

  • Stepping It Up With Fitness Steps

    Funded May 18, 2023

Thank you so much for helping fund our steps for our students. We utilize them in our physical education classes to give students variety and choice in their activities. Our students utilize them for mobility, cardio, and weight days in our multi-purpose room. Our steps have added an extra challenge to students by allowing them to select the riser height. Our students are gaining knowledge of how they can stay active for a lifetime, by improving their cardiovascular endurance. Without the support from you, we would not have been able to bring this to our school.”

  • Rollerblading to be SOCIALLY DISTANT

    Funded May 5, 2021

Our students were very excited to have the option of rollerblades in our wheels unit. We had some students who were able to try these for the very first time! In our wheels unit, we already offered long boards, skateboards, and rip sticks. The rollerblades gave the students some independence in selecting their challenge of choice in this unit. We started our wheels unit the gym to learn about all of the options, but we were also able to get our students outside. They appreciated the extra opportunities to get them outside and active with an activity they enjoyed.”

  • Lifelong Activities in Physical Education

    Funded Mar 26, 2021

Thank you so much for your donation to our lifelong activities. We were able to hold a yard games tournament last year where students were able to sign up for an activity of their choice. They were able to choose between Kubb, spike ball, bag toss, kan jam, or bocce ball. They had so much fun and were very excited about all of the new activities. In our wheels unit, we were able to introduce UNICYCLES! Some students have never been given the chance to try one out. They take a lot of practice, but were very enjoyable for all students to try with their friends.”

  • Drumming in Physical Education

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

My students were so surprised when we received these materials. We immediately began to start cardio drumming in our physical education unified class. This was the perfect activity to do together. We even practiced for about three weeks and performed in front of the entire school. Please see the link attached below :)

We will continue to expand into cardio drumming and will even have our students practice to songs of their choice and come up with routines they create. This is great movement for learners of all abilities.”

  • Outside Activities for ALL!

    Funded Nov 4, 2019

Thank you so much for providing our students with non traditional physical activity opportunities. Our students have really enjoyed getting on our ripstiks and snowshoes! Our students who traditionally do not like a traditional physical education environment have been grateful for activities that they can feel confident in. They have enjoyed getting outside on our snowshoes and enjoying the ripstiks in the gym. They were so excited when they saw that we had a wheels unit and they were super supportive of each other learning how to ride our new equipment. Words can not even describe how proud of my students that I am that they tried something new and many students have since went out and bought their own equipment! This makes a teacher happy :)”

  • Snowshoeing in Wisconsin Winters!

    Funded Feb 14, 2019

Thank you so much for your support of our classroom and your contribution to our snowshoes. Our students were excited and able to use them in a fresh snow fall! For some of our students, this was their first time on snowshoes and they were excited and curious to get to use them. We can't wait for next winter when we can do activities on our snowshoes such as scavenger hunts, nature walks, snowshoe whiffle ball and much more. Thank you again so much for bringing a winter activity to our classroom.”

My students are in 7th and 8th grade and their are around 900 students in our school. We are from Green Bay, WI and my students are wonderful. They aren't afraid to try new challenges or activities that I give them and they are a great group of students. My school has two gyms so we aren't limited on space, only on equipment!
