This is my first year that I will be teaching a STEAM class. My theme for first quarter focuses around Electromagnetism. I requested the Little Bits STEAM Student Set to integrate powerful STEM/STEAM learning into your classroom. Little Bits are easy-to-use electronic building blocks that empower you to invent anything, from your own remote controlled car to a smart home device. I also chose gadgets and resources such as magnets and Snap Circuit boards to help the students understand and learn how it works. The students will first be learning where energy originates from, then they will be learning about the different forms/ways that energy is used. For the final project, the students will create their gadget using a form of energy to help our earth in some way.
