My students are ninety percent autistic. They are fantastic and are not limited to their diagnosis. I have a variety of classes this year. I teach Utah history, American history, and keyboarding. The challenge since day one was to make those history classes interesting, especially Utah history. I was laughed at by multiple people who taught it previously with them saying the class was horribly boring. I strive each day to make history come to life, connect it to the individual student, and navigate autisms difficulties. The students have been able to rise to the challenge. The past few years have been amazing.
