Music is such an important part of our students' education. In elementary school, music class provides an overview of the many types of music that students can be a part of throughout their education. For many students, music is a way of expression that only schools can provide. My school is a high poverty school and many of my students were affected by the recent tornado. Many of my students' homes were destroyed. My students love music class. For many of my students, music class is the only place they can truly express themselves. With new instruments, I can provide my students with more opportunities for their creativity and expression in music class.
