  • Help Us Get Some Headphones

    Funded Aug 8, 2022

Thank you so much for helping us with getting everyone in my class some headphones. These are very useful in our class and we use them daily. We have used our headphones for testing and other various activities. Each child was able to do their testing without interruption from other devises. Their test scores have been better, just off the fact that they are able to hear clearly what is asked of them. They have their names on their headphones. They even more enjoy going to the listening station because they are able to use their own headphones. During covid we learned about making students do not have to share so many things, to help stop the spread of gems. My students love getting their headphones that are personally theirs. Everyone knows where their headphones are and are able to maintain them. Each student also have their dry erase markers and erasers.”

  • Creativity and Critical Thinking Through Art

    Funded Jun 23, 2022

Thank you so very much for gifting our class these wonderful tools. We have been using our supplies to reinvent our writing station. My students were very happy to put together their new writing station. Many ask will my supplies help my current students. The answer is yes. This year the whole kindergarten team looped up with their students. So these supplies did indeed help my same students. My students love going to the writing station. They are now able to transform their writings into wonderful works of art. In Math we are in our problem solving section. With these tools we are able to make our problem solving mats more real and enjoyable. Our next project is a color part party for our class. We will using our tools to decorate our pod in our grade level color. Also, fall and other seasonal things are going on, so we will be creating from now until the supplies run low. Thank you every one so very much. My students have a hard time bringing supplies, let alone maintaining them. With the pandemic many parents have to focus on other things. So thank you every one, from my class.”

As a 2nd year teacher, I am super excited about this upcoming school year. I am am working hard to be able to better prepare my students for 1st grade. In my Kindergarten classroom, I want my students to be able to do a lot of hands-on, independent learning workstations which are totally different from the traditional "centers". I envision my Kindergarten classroom as being a ditto (worksheets) free environment with EVERYTHING being hands-on interactive learning. My students are very energetic, enthusiastic and creative, inquisitive sponges, eager to explore every aspect of learning!
