  • Campfire Decor!

    Funded Oct 30, 2023

This project has been a dream come true to our classroom. Since COVID we have not had a carpet in our classroom. The students are now using the carpet on a daily bases to engage in lessons, read books, and have discussions. Having all boys is a different set up this year for decor. This theme was perfect for them and all they love to do.

The other items in the project we used to create a cool test prep camping themed day. We played test prep games and stations using the pencils. We used the supplies as awards for prizes for completing stations.

Thank you again so much for this items in this project.”

  • Teachers Pay Teachers for Busy Teacher!

    Funded Feb 8, 2023

I am beyond grateful for this gift to my classroom. Since this TPT gift cards, I have been able to purchase centers and units for the classroom. My students are enjoying the Shark/Ocean life unit purchased. The are able to conduce research and use it in daily life. Another unit they were excited for was our social studies unit on Ancient Egypt. Students created research reports, learned about hieroglyphics and more. Your donation also provided us with resources and centers for test prep. Students engagement in understanding concepts have improved since the purchase of materials. Again thank you so much for your donation/gift to our classroom.”

  • Keep Me Organized!

    Funded Nov 1, 2022

Thank you so much for your support in creating an organized classroom. Since I started teaching, I learned students do not function in chaos. They function in calm, welcoming, and organized classroom. Your donation allowed for a lot of clutter to be neatly put away. It allowed for more organized way for students to get access to resources. It also helped me become organized in units I am teaching currently or in the future. My students loved helping and supporting getting the classroom organizes. It allowed them to take pride in setting up their learning environment. Thank you again for all the supplies.”

  • Congrats to the Grads!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you for donating to make our 5th grade senior events memorable. Your donation goes to helping create an environment used for award ceremonies and gym into this new space. It is amazing to get the students perspective but, getting the perspective from a parent is different. Families come into the space excited and looking at the space seeing all the potential the space had.

For the students it gave them a different experience. It showed them how much time, effort, and love the staff used to make sure they had a wonderful graduation and senior social.

Thank you so much again for supporting our students in school.”

  • It's Mathtastic!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

My students love math. They love working through stations/centers. Through this project we have increased student engagement in learning. My students love using the flash cards to improve math skills and playing bingo. I think we play bingo in my classroom at least once a week now. It is cool when students begin to love a subject that may seem quit difficult and challenging. Math has become the students favorite part about coming to school.

Thank you so much for donating to this project. Students are enjoying math and loving every single resources.”

  • Back to the Basics!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

The families and students have not stop thanking us for these wonderful donations! For the 2nd year in a row, I have not had to send home a school supply list and I am amazed! The supplies have allowed the students to be able to take notes and activity participate in all subjects. It has been a blessing to be able to get through all subjects and stations without any scrabbling for basic supplies. The students are thrilled and excited to have their own items to use in the classroom. Each student now has their own individual notebook for each subject and headphones for their personal laptops. We no longer are running out of tissues are basic supplies. Thank you again for this amazing donation.”

This is my first year teaching and I am going to make it an amazing year. As a special education teacher in a 12:1 self-contained classroom in the South Bronx. It is amazing to see many of my students who have low fine motor skills and emotional/ developmental delays express themselves. However, we are in the nation's poorest school district and my students can barely afford to purchase their own school supplies. I buy most of the supplies out of my own pocket (which I don't mind because they appreciate it so much). Over 95% of the student qualify for free lunch and over 95% receive public assistance. Knowing the future of my students depends on it, I try to provide as much opportunities to let their creativity out! Thank you for your consideration, and we appreciate any donation you can make. Our students are learners today and leaders tomorrow.
