    I can't fully express my joy, excitement, and thanks for your donation to my project. Our girls have been practicing with dedication and determination for several months, motivating each other to keep pushing on.

    I have seen these girls mature into leaders, desiring success for themselves as well as their team mates. Now they can finally be rewarded for their hard work in softball as well as in school.

    The resources funded has given every girl a chance to perfect their swing, making them feel more like a team. We were able to train just in time for our softball season, making our team stronger. Thank you so much!”

My young middle school students have endured in life what most adults have yet to experience but they still have the courage to continue on. Battling poverty, drugs, gang violence, death of parents, foster care and pregnancy in NYC, our school strives to provide these students with hope and inspire them to succeed. These young brilliant minds have become shackled to the ideologies of poverty. Teachers at our school have dedicated our lives to liberate them so they can be free. Our newly formed girls softball has given our female students the opportunity to be active in a productive manner.

About my class
