• Mobile Media Cart Needed!

  I cannot thank you enough for your most generous donation to get this project funded! This cart is so handy and a great addition to our classroom. It is a great tool to hold our laptop that connects to our brand new Promethean Board! It also has a locking cabinet which is great to store important items. We are so lucky to have such supportive families who understand the need for additional resources outside of what the district can provide. • Flexible Seating in 1st!

  Wow, what an amazing show of support for our classroom! It was so heartwarming to see all the donations coming in to get this project funded. The students are thoroughly enjoying their new rug, floor seats for reading, comfy stools and classroom supplies. The students have really benefitted from the movement breaks of our flexible seating classroom. They are better able to collaborate and get to know their classmates due to the abundance of conversational areas in our classroom. It has been a pleasure working with this class so far and I look forward to the months to come!”

• Clean Air for Learning

  Wow, what a year! Thank you all so much for your generous donation to this project. Having my students stay safe while in the classroom was my number one priority and your donation helped me do that!

  In all honesty, I never would have imagined I would have to order an air purifier for my classroom, but here we are! I am super grateful that we had another level of protection when we returned to in-person learning. It gave me added piece of mind in a somewhat uneasy situation.

• Cozy Carpet!

  It is with heartfelt gratitude that I send you this message. I can't tell you how much my students have enjoyed our new blue, cozy rug over the last four months! We use our carpet space space for class meetings, whole group instruction, small group center time, fun Friday and even snack time! Our old rug had seen better days so it has been wonderful to have a new, fresh space for our 26 students to enjoy. Thank you kindly for your generous donation. • Wiggle While We Work

  Funded May 8, 2019

  My students were so excited when their new classroom furniture arrived! Wobble stools are probably the most popular seating option in our flexible seating classroom, so the kids were thrilled to see two more! They also love the dry erase table and were so excited to be able to use it for math stations. Although we've only had the materials for a short time, they are already big hits! Flexible seating has become a very important part of my teaching philosophy and I strongly believe that allowing kids to work in a comfortable environment helps them achieve their academic goals. So many students for years to come will benefit from your thoughtful generosity.”

• Flexible Seating In First!

  My students and I can't thank you all enough for the very generous donations for our flexible seating items! Kids love to work and wiggle and the wobble stools allow the students to move around while they work. This helps them stay focused on the task at hand. Students who prefer a more traditional seating style have enjoyed using the counter height stools. Lastly, the children love the lap desks to sit on our cozy rug while they do their reading, writing or math activities. It's donors like you that have made our classroom like a home and we can't thank you enough for your kindness!”

• STEM Bins for First Grade!

  I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations to help me fund STEM bins for my classroom! Since the moment the box arrived, my 28 first graders have absolutely loved creating with the materials! Watching their imaginations and engineering skills come to life has been such an amazing experience for me as their teacher. I have added them in once a week as a morning choice during breakfast as well as part of our free choice fun Friday activities. I absolutely love watching the children collaborate with one another and problem solve while using creativity. These bins will be a wonderful addition to my classroom for years to come!”

• Fill Our Shelves in 1st!

  Your generous donations to help fund our classroom multicultural and STEM book library are greatly appreciated! We received our delivery and the students and I are so excited to have such wonderful books added to our library. Many students are reading these books during free choice time and we are very excited to incorporate them into our curriculum for class read alouds as well! It is very important to have rich mentor texts when introducing new science topics and these books will provide just that! Furthermore, I love that our classroom library now reflects the cultural diversity of our classroom. We have books from various ethnicities around the world and the students will be able to see themselves in the books they are reading! Your thoughtfulness in helping bring this project to life means so much!”
