Design and Organize...with a Cricut!
Funded May 4, 2022Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. Having a classroom Cricut machine is going to give us so many more options for being creative in our classroom and around the school. One of our first projects is going to focus on positive affirmations- making vinyl lettering signs to put up to encourage positive thinking and support mental health. We will be putting up vinyl signs in student bathrooms with phrases like "your voice matters" and "today is a good day to have a good day". These little messages will hopefully brighten our students' days! Thank you again for helping us get our project fully funded!”

Funded Dec 7, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donations. It is so important to me to have the tools necessary to help my students be as successful as possible. Unfortunately, sometimes those tools are not always in the budget or accessible in my classroom.
Having a classroom printer has been more helpful than I can express. It is so great to be able to help my students print assignments or a copy of their college recommendation letter. Sometimes I just need an extra copy or two of a handout and I am not able to just leave and print one in the library in the middle of class.
I am very excited to have a laminator to be able to make one single copy of something- a poster, a calendar, an assignment- and not have to waste paper by copying it over and over again when it gets ruined or overused.
All of these items might not seem like they are life-changing, but they make my day SO much easier and I am able to spend more time focusing on the students, rather than stressing about printing something or having to run between classes to get a copy made.
Your contribution is truly appreciated, by both my students and myself. Thank you again so much!”

Hit Print!
Funded Jan 31, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donations. It is such a small convenience to be able to print a document in my classroom, but it honestly makes a huge difference to me and is incredibly helpful.
As an 11th grade English teacher, I write up to 40 college recommendation letters a year for my former students who are now graduating, in addition to recommendations for jobs, community service opportunities, internships, etc. It is very time consuming, however I am pleased to do it because that means there is one more student who is preparing for and looking forward to their future. I am happy to be able to easily print them copies of their letters.
Many of my students also do not have access to a printer at home. Although many essays are submitted electronically, we still do many creative writing pieces and projects that require pictures and text. My students are grateful to be able to print in my classroom, as it is often difficult for them to go to the library before or after school.
Thank you again!”

Students Love Book Clubs!
Funded Dec 9, 2012Thank you so much for your support! I am very excited to now have enough book titles to do the book clubs. My students are extremely excited to have these novels in order to explore new genres and work in small groups. Hopefully, doing the book clubs will continue to help reluctant readers feel more motivated and will encourage the stronger readers to read different selections.
Your generosity really means so much to me and to my students! Because of you, students are being exposed to books and authors outside of the curriculum.”
