Frustration in understanding ideas that are abstract is one of my biggest challenges with my students. Being able to physically watch and manipulate materials to create the desired or expected outcome will hopefully solidify this understanding with them. Experiments and labs are the backbone of any science classroom. These students deserve the best education we can give them, it is essential to my students to see that they are getting the same education that everyone in a public school is getting, and more. These materials will help prepare them for an understanding of science that will play into their daily lives now, and in the future.
