My students are extremely energetic, creative, and eager to learn. 40% of the community lives in poverty where a lot of students receive free and reduced lunch. With that being said students are not required to purchase graphing calculators, but we are still required to use them in our classrooms. I'd love to have my students all be able to learn how to use technology in math, and using a graphing calculator is one piece of technology. We are in desperate need of graphing calculators that will enhance their learning and be used as math manipulative during Common Core units.
