• Eager for Enrichment!

  My students were beyond excited to receive these items. We use them EVERYDAY in our classroom. They especially adore the math games and the Magic Tree House books! Each day after math, they ask to get these activities off of the shelf and use them.

  We use almost all of these items in our math centers daily. This project was a huge amount of funding and it has truly allowed me to be able to even do math centers after instruction. Last year, I didn't have near the amount of math activities required to do math centers...I would have to hand prep everything and that would take HOURS. These activities are ready to go and allow me to get more sleep!

  We have been focusing heavily on addition and soon we will moving into subtraction. We are also always developing and working on our number sense in first grade so that will never change! In reading, we have covered all of our short vowels for 8 weeks straight and are almost ready for digraphs! We will begin plot soon as well! We read The Magic Tree House series everyday after recess before transitioning to math...they LOVE them! Thank you all so much again for funding this project, it truly has changed my classroom!”

• Leveled Readers for Little Hands!

  This has been such an amazing addition to my classroom! Thank you so much for donating these books! There is truly something for all of my students with this book set.

  I use many of these books in my centers and for buddy reading/small group reading. My students love the variety of non-fiction and fiction. I have used these books to teach problem/solution, cause and effect, sequence of events and much more.

  Many of my girls love to read these books during centers time and really enjoy the content. Thank you so much again! I really appreciate it, and so do my students. These books are a big hit!”
