Many of my students face challenges before they even come into my classroom. Some have difficulty focusing and attending, but all have a kind heart and work hard. Each of my students have varying ability levels and needs. We embrace these differences, and we teach kids how to monitor their learning and behavior to reach their full potential. Students feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment. Flexible seating allows them to choose where and how they will work best. Learning environments can have a direct impact on student achievement. In our classroom, we have built a caring, safe learning environment. However, my students' physical work space choices consist of sitting in metal chairs, or working with clipboards on the rug. Your donation will help to purchase Wobble Stools for my students to choose as a comfortable and productive seating choice that will help them focus and be more productive.
