Funded Mar 31, 2019Thank you to all the donors that were able to make this project a great success for my students. They truly would appreciate the opportunity to use brand new calculators to be able to help them calculate their work. We will put these calculators to great use in the classroom.”

Our Business Adventure
Funded Aug 1, 2017We are truly grateful for the dononations in allowing my students at Village Academy to ensure that "Our Business Adventure" was a true success by allowing the students to have access to a color printer to print out projects we worked on in our math classroom. This technology has allowed students within my classroom to become more engaged and independent on printing out the necessary materials and images they need for the projects and or math tasks.
The most rewarding experience was when my students created their own unique business projects. While working on the business project the students had to determine what type of business they would create? Where would there company be located? What statistical questions they would need to survey classmates to narrow down the prototype they would create? They were also asked to create a printed template of all this information, create a PowerPoint and commercial they would then present to the class.
You can see some of the hard work my students spent on within our class time to ensure there projects were excellent. I would again truly thank my donors for making this a rewarding experience for my students. All of your help if truly appreciated.”

Artists In Need of Supplies
Funded Apr 1, 2017Artists In Need of Supplies was a success. My students were very engaged in creating the sand art bottle project. They used all the different sand art colors, the wiggle eyes and feathers to put their unique touch on their sand art bottle that represented thier personality and creativity.
My students were very excited with all the supplies we received thanks to our generous donors. They were eager to use them to work on different arts and craft ideas and activities within our classroom. However the greatest success was the sand art bottle project where the students were each eager to complete their own and help others within the classroom.
My next steps with my students is to use the markers, feathers and wiggle eyes to create more hands on and 3-D arts and craft which they can later share with thier family and friends.”
