Since a lot of my students with autism are sensory seekers they have different ways of learning. A few of them like to wiggle in their chairs and a lot of our chairs are basic preschool chairs that have no room for movement. They really enjoy having a trampoline and a workout ball to get that extra energy out. I tested out a few different seats from other teachers and they wobble chairs really kept my students engaged in what they were doing. It benefited their education more than being a distraction in the classroom. The wobble chairs also were able to let them get out their sensory needs.
