My students need a variety of seating choices (12 Wobble stools, a bench and seats and cushions) to complement their different learning styles. My goal is to have the most inviting and fun learning environment for my Kindergarten students. I know they learn best through movement. When I teach on the carpet we take a lot of brain breaks and move with our learning. When it is time for independent work, I want the ability for movement to continue. I hope to have different seating options, such as.. a lowered table so they sit on the floor with the sit-on cushions, kid sized table with the Wobble stools, I am raising one of my own tables so kids can stand, bench seating on the benches. The color coded supplies will make it easy for clean up time. The joy of Kindergarten will be apparent the minute you walk in our classroom door. The alternative seating in rainbow colors is beautiful and functional.
