  • Superb Science Supplies

    Funded May 10, 2016

Our students loved seeing our butterflies emerge from their chrysalis' and watching the ladies bugs grow. It was such a wonderful learning experience for our students. We are beyond grateful for the donations that allowed our students the amazing experiences. The students learned to become more comfortable around the insects and got hands on experience in caring for the caterpillars. The students who were even afraid to transfer the caterpillars to the butterfly net were thrilled to watch them grow and develop. I am sure the students will remember the ladybugs and butterflies for a long time.”

    With gratitude,

  • Marvelous Math Manipuatives

    Funded Dec 31, 2014

My students were beyond words when we received our math manipulatives! To say we were all in disbelief is an understatement. We will be using the resources on a daily basis through out our next math units. The students are sure to be engaged and eager to learn our new math concepts. All of the students will benefit from such a hands on learning experience. The place value set can be used by all the students to help with all of our difficult math computational units for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Your generosity has allowed them to have fun and motivational math experiences within the classroom.”

  • We're Worthy Of Weekly Readers

    Funded Oct 30, 2014

My students were beyond excited to receive all of our weekly readers ! Each time we read a scholastic weekly reader my students do not want to stop reading. The weekly readers lend themselves to so many subjects from reading to science and social studies. The students also enjoy the interactive smart board features that were included with our subscription. All of the magazines truly help to engage and motivate my students to read. The non-fiction texts are relevant and interesting articles that my students compare to a newspaper for kids. We are all so grateful for what you have provided for us.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Pearce

My school is a welcoming and friendly place. Students are all encouraged to try their best and achieve great things. All staff members recognize that no one is perfect and each person (whether student or staff member) can learn from their mistakes. Students in my classroom vary in age and grade level. I have a bridge class which includes 4th and 5th graders.
